About

In the beautiful hinterland of the Great Ocean Road, Anglesea Golf Club is home to around 300 Eastern Grey Kangaroos. Since 2015, the Club has been hosting 25 minute guided Kangaroo Tours which attracts visitors from around the world.

Anglesea Golf Club nature-based tours run during the week and weekends on selected times. The tours are conducted in open-air electric vehicles with seating capacity for up to 13 passengers and are safe and suitable for all ages.

Hear all about the kangaroos from your guide, a local Club member, who will share interesting facts on life cycles, habits and more, while taking you to suitable areas to disembark for photos. This gives real meaning to the experience of being “up close and personal” with these much-loved Australian marsupials in a beautiful setting. If you’re lucky, you might even see a Joey, peeking out from mum’s pouch.

Enjoy lunch before or after your tour in the Bistro or on the brand new outdoor deck with magnificent views onto the fairway. A discount is provided with every ‘roo tour booking.
