About

Experience the thrill of flying in a WWII open cockpit biplane. On take off you will wing your way along the beaches and cliff tops of Torquay, Bells Beach and beyond. Continue your adventure along the coast at low level as you cruise past the Iron Bark Basin and the rugged steep cliffs of Pt Addis and Angelsea. Or wing your way east along the rolling sand dunes past Barwon Heads and on to Point Lonsdale Lighthouse.

Don your full flying suit, leather jacket, helmet and goggles just like Biggles and get ready for an unforgettable adventure flight in your own private open cockpit biplane. From take off to landing, you will fly over spectacular beaches and coastline. Unforgettable.

Tiger Moth World is located at Torquay Airport by the beach in Torquay. This private airfield was designed and lovingly recreated as a World War II style grass aerodrome specifically for Tiger Moth World’s biplane adventure flights. It abuts the beautiful Great Ocean Road foreshore reserve and all the action happens literally metres away from the viewing area.

Flight time is engine start to engine shut down. Times shown are approximate and may vary according to wind conditions and passenger comfort.
