About

La Cantina is a farmhouse restaurant celebrating simple Italian flavours and fresh, locally-grown ingredients. The menu is designed for sharing and updates on a weekly basis to make the most of seasonal flavours. You’ll find Italian classics from cured meats and cheeses to handmade pasta to sorbet and ice-cream, made in house.

Located at Common Ground Project, a not-for-profit community farm that’s a short drive south of Geelong in Freshwater Creek. La Cantina uses produce from the farm and other local, sustainable suppliers. From the Mulberry Group, the company behind Hazel, Dessous and Liminal; La Cantina is run by Glenn Laurie and Lolo Hauser, who both worked at the River Cafe in London, a world-famous Italian restaurant.

Open for lunches from Thursday to Sunday, and dinners on Friday and Saturday. Set menu only.
