Afterglow on Saturday, 19 November 2022 is the only dedicated twilight to night trail half marathon in Australia, following a magical course along the Surf Coast Walk, in Victoria.
The course is non-technical and well signposted. While offering plenty of great trails for experienced trail runners, it is also perfect for road runners looking to get a little dirty with their running. Remember you will be starting in the twilight, but finishing in the dark. This means it is mandatory that every competitor has a head torch on their person from the start.
The five kilomeres Mini-Glow begins on the beach at Fisherman’s Beach with runners heading up the beach and back along the walking tracks above the beach. The course is non technical and well marked with lots of “glow” en route and a marshall at the turn around.
