About

Barrabool Maze Estate is a stand-alone destination. Only a short 15 minute drive from Geelong, you will be transported into the tranquil countryside of the Barrabool Hills. Take a country break, relax, enjoy a drink, or a delicious meal and explore the gardens and hedge maze.

The Woods End Cookhouse at Barrabool Maze Estate is a relaxed country style eatery. Drop in and enjoy a delicious cake, coffee, glass of wine, a grazing platter, or something more substantial.

Sit indoors by the cosy log fire, enjoy al fresco in the courtyard under a beautiful Oaktree or on the deck and take in the magnificent ever changing hues of the Barrabool Hills. The Cookhouse is fully licensed and offers a selection of local wines, beers and soft drinks.

The Maze and Gardens feature robust Australian plants mingled with hardy exotics. Cacti and succulents make bold foliage features throughout the year and tough attractive roses and perennials bring seasonal interest to the gardens. By combining a palette of fascinating and unique plants that have adapted to dry climate conditions we now have a garden that is both beautiful and practical.
